Green, Scarlet & Gold - 100% Silk
The green represents the green jackets of the first Continental Marines of 1776.
Marine Corps Order No. 4 of April 18, 1925 designated gold and scarlet as the official colors of the U.S. Marine Corps on the battle standard (flag).
These colors, however, were not reflected in the official Marine Corps standard until January 18, 1939.
Scarlet as a Marine Corps uniform color dates to the 1779 Enlisted and Officers uniforms which had scarlet facings.
